Sharing your property gives Evergreen access to the building record in Portfolio Manager so we can help with:
reviewing the property setup
checking utility data and meter configuration
helping prepare for reporting
supporting city-specific submission requirements
keeping the process organized going forward
This is a normal and important part of the benchmarking workflow.
It helps to have the following ready:
an active ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account
the property already added in the platform
your login information available
the property selected that you want to share
If you have more than one property, be sure you are sharing the correct one.
Log into your Portfolio Manager account and open the property you want to share.
In Portfolio Manager, you will need to connect with Evergreen so the property can be shared properly.
Select the property and begin the sharing process so Evergreen can access the building record.
Make sure Evergreen has the level of access needed to review the property and support the next steps in benchmarking and reporting.
Once the property has been shared, let Evergreen know so we can verify access and review the setup.
This step helps shift the process from basic setup into active support. Once access is shared, Evergreen can help identify setup issues early, reduce reporting delays, and make sure the property is moving through the right process.
It also helps avoid common problems like incomplete permissions, missing utility details, or property records that are not fully ready for reporting.
After the property has been shared, the next step depends on your building and city. In some cases, Evergreen may review the setup and take it from there. In other cases, the next step may involve a city-specific workflow or a Portfolio Manager data request.
